1. He has no chance of winning.

I think Rob Maness is using this election as a poll to determine his future. If he gets 10% or more he will see a reason to run for offices in the future. If he gets 5% or less we'll never hear from him again.

How? Because Republican voters are more likely to stay home in a run-off? If true (and I doubt it) not exactly Maness' fault, is it?
