I know it doesn't make LSU fans feel good to see someone as talented as Guice re-open his recruiting, but he's a smart kid. He deserves to see everything that's out there and I believe LSU is the best major venue for a college football player.

aka, I want to look at other schools to see if I want to go there, but I want LSU to hold my spot too
That's how I read it anyway. If you are "open" to being recruited by other schools, you aren't very "committed" IMO
Which is fine. These are kids making probably the biggest decision of their lives to this point. Gotta make sure it's the right one. But we can still call it like it is. I ain't mad at him
