Jennings seems to be a good kid, & he was done wrong at the last home game. However, Harris has too much talent not to get playing time. He can handoff to #7, too. And the running game which was established against UF would help his passing game.

I want to see Harris too, but he was a mess v. Auburn.

He'll have a chance to make amends.

Ugh, I wish we had quarterbacks who were so good they go pro after their redshirt sophomore season. Then Harris would be playing in no time.

It's up to him. There's alot more to playing QB than throwing tight spirals.
But not many wouldve came into this league as a true freshman under these circumstances and do any better.

Harris seems to have all the tools. Patience is what he needs from everyone, including himself. Will be interesting to see these two develop their skills moving forward.

Everyone involved should want BH to have some time to get experience and poise, the only things he's lacking before being rushed into the field.

If only we had established the running game before Auburn, he wouldn't have thrown ten feet over guy's heads.

I think he will take over early next season once he has the playbook down.

Unless Jennings has another NM St type game or someone just beats the brakes off of us early, I can't see Brandon Harris getting a lot of playing time.

Game film says otherwise.

for the most part, but sometimes gets things like that wrong. But give him a little time. He is going to be a good one.

As long as Jennings can throw for ~100 yards @ ~50% completion percentage, low turnovers, he is keeping the job for 3 years.

The experience he gains this year will, in Miles' mind, be the deciding factor for the next two years.

Harris will transfer when he see's the light.

Here's what I would have told Brandon before the Auburn game... something our coaches were probably not smart enough to impart:

Brandon, this is a GAME. A game, son. Just have fun. You have the talent for it. Enjoy yourself. All those NFL dreams can wait.

Instead, what our coaches told him was "OMG. It's 3rd and 7. We don't want you to pass. You can't handle it."

I expect to see Harris this week against Kentucky. I say that because it is very possible that we get behind and need to throw some passes.

if we control the game and it stays very close maybe not.

I have no idea how the QB situation will play out. Listening to Les this week he appears to be just as clueless. Talks about Jennings getting better but Harris being the future. This is going to be one screwed up convoluted mess going forward.
