What's up with stores having Christmas stuff out already. Before Halloween! Soon Christmas will creep all the way into July after Independence day.

Yay consumerism.

I'm seriously considering raising my kids satanic because of Christmas.

What a fricking awful holiday.

Christmas has already lapped itself. That stuff is not for this Christmas, but for Christmas 2015.

I swear I read more whining from Atheists than I do actual preaching from the Jesus freaks. Not even on here, it's Facebook, work, bars, etc. Nobody is preaching about anything to them but they'll go off on tangents about how oppressed they're being. Whiny douchers.

How does what I said translate into any of what you just said?

I will never understand why people hate Christmas.

It's pretty easy to just not participate and be completely indifferent about it, but for some reason that's just not cool enough.

I don't care if they sell Santas in June, Jack-O-Lanterns in February and King Cake in October.

I can understand some of the hate re: forced family interactions and consumerism, but that's not really what it's supposed to be about. Even if one doesn't believe in God or whoever, it can still be a good time for fun and happiness.

I love Christmas and Christmas traditions. I just don't like Christmas foisted upon me in September. There's levels to this holiday shite. Halloween, Thanksgiving, then Christmas. This is just screwing up my Advent calendar.

Halloween gets no respect. It's the most versatile holiday of them all.

From 5-12 it's all about the candy. 12-15 is all about terrorizing the neighborhood. 16 you are too cool for it. 17-24 it's all about getting fricked up and chasing pussy. 25-30 is costume parties and still getting shite faced. Then once you have kids, the cycle starts over and you get to relive it all. Always been my favorite holiday by far.
