Haha. A true sophomore. In two years the excuse will be, " Our Qb is a senior, but it is a TRUE senior so you can't aim Miles"

If this shite continues in two years, LSU will find a True Head Coach

You're embarrassed that LSU employed a predictable and ultimately successful strategy? You might want to go back and look at the 10 points LSU scored when it let JaMarcus Russell sling it 41 times against Florida in 2006 when he turned it over 4 times....or Mettenberger's 18.0 QBR and 1/13 on 3rd down while only mustering 6 points against UF 2 years ago? Those are 2 of the best throwing QB's in LSU history. Then go look at LSU's 47 rushing attempts for a 3.4 AVG in 2010 that resulted in 33 points with JJ and JL splitting time.

The hate for you is strong young Saban lover. Are you that upset you can't rub it in everyone's face that Bama did this or that???? We won on the road with a horrible back up qb starting. Playing a huge number of true freshman. Relax guy relax. Please don't respond with you said nothing about Saban. If you feel the need to then tell me why you are so pissed about your supposedly favorite team winning with the conditions I stated above.

@memphis Tiger. What position did you play? Seems this board is loaded with Miles' critics who have never played a mere four years of high school football. Due to inexperience, LSU plays conservative football to avoid turn overs which they did. Ask the Aggies,Auburn and Florida how turn overs hurt them yesterday.

Once again Memhis Tiger give us your football resume.

Well, the flip side is that LSU also avoided TOs against MSU and AU and got hammered. What effective offense is more concerned with avoiding TOs than actually moving the ball? At all levels of football mistakes and TOs are going to happen. However, you have to be willing to live with that in order to give your offense a chance to succeed. Les would rather stay mired in an offensive rut and not turn the ball over than gives his guys a chance to make plays even though the risk of a TO increases.

Otherwise, this team is as done as five-day-old toast in the SEC West race, and that's all that really matters at LSU. If you're out of the division race in September, it's a bad season. But Miles should be happy. With a 1-2 conference record and five games left, LSU is still in the hunt for the 1975 Big Ten title.

It is frustrating but I'm happy the team got a win, we were very close to a freefall and for a young team and recruiting we don't want that. Just get better and beat KY to get the extra bowl practice.

I'm actually going to have to disagree. He is playing with what we have. What is more concerning is the fact that Miles a company have yet to develop Quarterbacks since he has been a coach here. Jennings is scared to pull the trigger most of time. I don't think this team can beat anyone in the west with the combination of offense and defense we have.

Sorry, I was not crediting the origin of the concept of the read option out of the shotgun to Auburn. I was referring to their POP (play option pass) that Pete Carroll stole from Malzahn this year and Wilson uses often. He used it last Sunday to win against the Redskins, another team running the option. That play involves Marshall optioning the run to the perimeter and drawing up before he crosses the LOS and tossing a POP pass over the rushers who have left the WR open to stop the run.

Please explain to me outside of Florida tonight how successful this strategy has been ALL year and please don't bring up the cream puffs LSU played?

LSU was fortunate that they found a weakness on the left side of UF's line and took full advantage of it...like they should have...

And yes...its embarrassing how predictable this team is...

We have no functionable QB. Have to work within that limitation.

This, and how are people so blind that they can't see it. Cam ran a record setting offense with Mett last year. His philosophy didn't change - the tools he has to work with did. People bitched when Harris started against Auburn and started out conservatively. Then he hit Malachi on the bomb and Cam opened up the gates. Then Harris showed he couldn't hit the passes in that situation. And we've already seen that Jennings can't. Next year you'll see Harris starting, and Harris, Quinn, Dupre, and LF will look just like Mett, OBJ, Landry, and Hill. You can only do what your players are capable of.

We scored more points then Florida and came out with a victory, and I am thrilled because I have gator inlaws However, it is painfully obvious Floida lost the game and we didn't win it. The dropped TD pass and horrible int at the end saved our asses. The key to good coaching is changing things after Wins, and not just losses. And this coaching staff has proven they will not to that. It isn't am easy thing to do but it is a must. Arky and Uga 2011 should have been the biggest writing on the wall we needed a change, but we won because of defense and magical player. We chose to change zero, where Bama change because they lost and we all saw the results

Well the reason our scheme is so bad is the lack of confidence in our passing game. I was at the game last night and will say our run game did a fantastic job considering the way that d stacked the line and the talent they have there. Lf was awesome imo

Recruiting players for a scheme or developing a scheme around the talent you have? Whatever it is, something is wrong. There have been at least a dozen QB's who have come to LSU since 2005 who were average at best, or left for another program.

They were talented young players with talented and experienced players around them?

Youth is all fine and all, but when it makes up a large portion of your team it's a struggle.

Ole miss beat us last year with about 8-9 freshman playing on defense against our veteran offense. The youth excuse is shite nowadays for college football
