But unless you sign up to potentially be kidnapped off the street when you're not expecting it, who is really scared of stuff in that video when you know you paid for it to happen?

I bet you'd shite your pants.

But in the video they said price of admission was a bag of dog food. So a food and his dog food?

Oh come on it doesn't look that bad.. being stuck in a cage with a bunch of fake snakes and having guys in ski masks yell at you?

I know right? Plus have your mouth/eyes taped over, some dude spitting fake blood in your face, being forced to eat some rotten looking egg, getting choked. Psh. Weak sauce

I don't know what the appeal of that would be.

I'd wager half the patrons have erections most of the time.

That looks stupid. The video is like a combination of fear factor and boot camp. Why are the making people do jumping jacks?

Oh, and they will be shut down as soon as someone is seriously injured and files a law suit.

Why? What's scary about having willingly signed up to go there, and then being fake tortured?

Sure...ACTUAL torture would be bad. But, you know...it's not really happening. It's a bunch of people pretending to hurt you.

Now...I'll jump like an 8 year old girl if something jumps out at me. No doubt. But I'm not going to scream like a fricking maniac after I've gone through the process of signing up to go there to have some jackass PRETEND to kill me. This all reeks of group-think and mob bullshite.

The whole thing seems ridiculous.

At least it has that going for it.

And hey...before anyone suggests it... I LOVE Halloween! I am the spooky house in our neighborhood!

Virtually no other reason to do any of that if not for that.

Did you see the part about it being a fricking haunted house?

No...I get it. But the video was a bunch of people pretending to be tortured behaving as if they WERE being tortured. It looked like bad acting.

Let's chalk it up to not being my thing I guess. Other than enjoying being grossed out and treated badly, I don't see how any of it would be scary in any traditional sense.
