So your point is linemen are running the spread, we have a spread qb, we are loaded with spread receivers, but we aren't running the spread because the coach is a dumbass.

Unfortunately, this is all true.

He was stating facts. No need to get all mad bro. I love how Les haunts you people. I bet 2011 was a horrible year until Saban saved you

Yup and I'm sure Auburn fans enjoyed their 2010 season under Chizik, UF fans that 2012 season under Muschamp and Texas fans enjoyed the 2005 season under Mack.
The list can go on with coaches that had great seasons but failed to put the pieces back together for another run or just got lazy.

Miles is hide-bound and inflexible based on his performance while at LSU. To date he has been successful, but seems to have, forgive me, hit a wall....

And not a single one was fired mid season. So the rant knows more than the ads of Texas, Florida, Auburn and LSU. Go figure.

Excellent point.

That's why in 2006 we had a prolific offense, and expanded on it in 2007.

In 2008, after the D sucked, he changed coordinators and Defenses.

In 2013, JUST A YEAR AGO, LSU had the most prolific offense in school history.

The defensive struggles are more alarming than the offense, and I don't see a lot of hope for improvement there

2 tight ends and the I formation until he is behind by at least 14 then will try to open up a bit. May not be 70% but surly 69% for

first 3 drives.

Miles is too old-school and stubborn to adapt to the game. It will be his eventual downfall. It's going to be a rough couple, few years around here until it happens, though. Hallman rough, DiNardo rough.

I see people on here agree and disagree , so how many of you think you know what the first offense play will b , by lsu this Saturday ? It will b a run with full back telling rb , and Florida def/ which way to go. The whole offense changed in past games when Harris entered, last wk they made him play under center , so yea he missed up playing miles ball , when he should have played to his strengths

Another thing about miles , if he wouldn't change game plan or qb to win a national title , and also make lsu history with thier first 13-0 season ever, he never will . National title , make history. , get bonus , NO run same play over and over and over. I bet saban laughed his arse off that night, and probably thought how stupid can u be??

LSU came out both SEC games with a run first mentality. Both games we quickly got behind. We did start to throw more then. I know for the Auburn game it was 17 runs to 3 passes. Too lazy to look back at MS game but it was very lopsided early and i think only 1 pass > 10yds.

With 2 new QB's we have been handcuffed. However, we don't have the O line to run the ball in the SEC without the threat of a down field passing game.

Les is going to have to turn the youngsters loose and live or die with it.
