LSU home games are a social event to over 50% of the attendees

It was their 2nd win against us in the past 8 seasons and they wanted to enjoy it.

I love how these threads bring out the desperate grasp-at-straw'ers who are growing more desperate as the truth becomes more exposed.
The truth is: rain, shine, good team, bad team, blow out, close game , etc. etc. ...
NO SEC stadium empties out early like Tiger Stadium.
Not even close.

Did Auburn fans Panicked like LSU fans after a blowout loss to LSU last year?

People care more about the tailgating than the game.

There was hardly any traffic, actually.

The planners and the Cops executing the plan don't really care if we sit in traffic. One time leaving on Stanford, we crawled to the interstate. When we got there, we realized that the Cop was giving preference to traffic coming from the other direction. Leaving down Highland after NMSU, police were stopping the traffic on Highland to allow cars to cross Highland.

Dude stfu. If we were at home and beating Auburn like that, the stadium would not be empty.
LSU beat Auburn pretty bad last year at home and by halftime, the stadium was half empty. It was so empty that even the tv announcers were commenting on it. Facts are facts.

We didn't blow them out last year.
at halftime, it looked as if they didn't belong on the field with us, and it was raining. that's why people left.
in 2011 when we beat the crap out of them people didn't leave early. The stadium was loud as shite in the 4th quarter when we went headhunting on kickoff returns. I remember the stadium being a rambunctious and fun environment late in the game in that win b/c we were waiting to see how we would embarrass them next, just like what just happen to us.

Because they actually like football, their stadium, each other, their team, and their university.
Weird.
Weird.

LSU fans leave early no matter what. We can be winning, losing, tied. It wouldn't matter what style of offense LSU used. The weather can be perfect or not perfect. It can be a day game or a night game. It can be a big time opponent or a rent-a-win - It doesn't matter.
If I was in charge I would consider allowing only ticket holders to park anywhere on campus for football. Too many people clogging campus who don't even go to the game.

One problem for LSU fans is that they're so shite-faced. Auburn doesn't drink as much.

LSU fans would have stayed for a beat down of a SEC foe, but I guess we won't know for sure for the next couple of years. I don't see many beat downs of SEC opponents in our near future.

LSU fans can make excuses all the want but I was there Saturday night and Auburn fans and Jordan-hare are far better than LSU fans and Tiger Stadium these days. I stayed until 2:00 left in the game and while some fans left most of the people were still there cheering their asses off. They were very good to tailgate with and were polite after the game as well.
I have been trying to take up for Tiger Stadium and LSU fans since all this "leaving early" stuff started being discussed. It pains me to see the facts that LSU and Tiger Stadium is no longer the best in the SEC much less the nation.

Were you there? 'Cause I WAS and after half time and by the start of the 4th quarter they were leaving. Trust me.
Also, the AU fans around me were saying..."playing LSU its not over until the clock says 0:00"
And...LSU had beaten them 6 of the past 7 years....so it was kinda like if LSU puts an arse whipping on Bama...people stay.

We really do have the worst fans in the SECand it's not even close anymore.

If that's the case it's no ones fault but LSU. They priced out all the coon asses that never set a foot on LSU except to tailgate, and go to the games, but they would stay until the final minutes.
