Anyone else ordered the reissued/remastered Tom Waits; Island Years LPs? I haven't received mine yet..

It includes the Swordfishtrombones/Rain Dogs/Frank's Wild Years trilogy.. his finest work IMO..

Spent a lot of time this weekend chasing down some electrical gremlins. My preamp was having trouble getting through the startup (tube warmup) cycle. Pulled it out the rack and it would work on its own with no problems. Eventually narrowed the issue down to the power strip I was using. This Emotiva CMX6.

I threw in an old Furman power conditioner I had laying around and everything is back up and working. What are others in here using for power management with their systems? I'm looking for some other options.

I'm not big on the whole power conditioning thing except in the sense that I need something to plug a lot of crap into, and I would like a solidly designed & made unit with some level of protection vs voltage spikes.

Between my HT & 2-channel setups I'm using an older APC J15 for UPS duty, and a Furman 20PG and a Panamax M5300 for power conditioner/outlets.
