I'm a fan who understands that this is a simple game. I want LSU to win, but it really doesn't change my life if they win or lose. I like supporting the team the idea of teamwork and the university that I love.

Quite honestly I enjoyed the end of the DiNardo years more than this because the only people who watced the games at that point were the people who cared about the university, students, and student athletes

We have too many bandwagon fans and most of them are trashy and don't care about the University at all.

Yeah, everyone keeps telling themselves that to justify their shitty reaction to Jennings being on the field.

Every one of you that's keeps using this bullshite excuse are the ones that were booing the fact that JENNINGS was on the field.

Anyone want to bet any cash that Jennings was thinking the same thing? "Oh, they're not booing me. They're just booing Les because I'm playing right now."

I'm sure he was the happiest player on the field when everyone was chanting "We want Harris." I'm sure none of the fan reactions last night was directed at Jennings at all and there's no possible way he thought the fans turned on him.

A 19-year-old being booed by tens of thousands of what are supposed to be your own fans. Yeah I'm sure that doesn't affect a 19-year-old at all. It's not like anyone has ever been destroyed by criticism before right

Yes I personally find it shameful. But I also understand that humility requires that I accept the actions of others. They booed. They are ALLOWED to do that by the standards of our society. It's the standard way that people with limited patience and low-frustration-tolerance vent. Have a little wisdom and realize that it does and will occur, is part of the deal, and is outside your realm of control.

Jennings will face FAR worse challenges in his life. If he's smart, he'll build off this. And 90% of people will be pulling for him.

The shitty predictable play calling putting him in a tough spot to fail over and over again only to be replaced with a new QB who seemed to have a completely different playbook and scheme that works?

You mean the playbook that ran the ball 9/10 times on his first possession in 2nd Quarter?

The TEAM prefers Harris, it's pretty obvious.

Harris' first drive was still hand-offs, although the formations were a little different.

Man every fricking bit of this. Same thing could be said with people leaving early.

You can't boo at a LSU game because people are too stupid & players are too overly sensitive in thinking that a player is being booed, when in fact they're booing Les Miles. So yes, don't boo.

These fans aren't even worthy to be associated with LSU. They truly are fanatics, in the negative use of that word. They are like a mob of terrorists who want only what they think is best.they don't care who they hurt or whose confidence They destroy. They are a pack of ravenous hyenas. Probably who live lives of lostness and whose entire value is put into football. So there can be no imperfection from anyone on the football team. Their self-worth is invested in this team. And if the team is imperfect their own imperfection is open for everyone to see.

But who are they kidding? They themselves are fat, ugly, stupid, have broken families, have no family, are alcoholics, or just flat out losers. They demand perfection? They are the farthest thing from it.these are the same people who called for McClendon to be fired. The same people who wanted Sabin fired after losses to UAB and Ole Miss back in 2000.same people who are merciless against Les Miles even though he has one more games than any other major program in the last decade and has the highest SEC winning percentage during that time. Such fanatics are a hindrance to this program and we need to either heal them or get rid of them. Because they are a flesh eating parasite, a cancer, and bring everyone down.

LSU has also had trashy fans since the first game in Tiger Stadium

I support the tigers and the University come hell or high water

No place to boo our coach or players when they are doing their best and representing the University well. And that is happening right now

It is immature and completely insensitive to boo the team PERIOD! This is a team and they live and die together - good decisions and bad. The fans are part of the team with the critical job of providing support through cheers to motivate the players in the greatest venue of college sports.

The insensitivity is saddening. Brandon Harris in his interview last night said it's wrong and rubbed him the wrong way! This is the way the TEAM feels.

Please grow up and think before you act. Emotional Maturity, look it!

You keep bringing up "trashy fans". I have news for you... you're living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

It's not like we live in Aspen, Colorado and country "done come to town".

People claim they can leave early b/c they bought their ticket....I suppose they can boo since they also bought their ticket.....one is just as disrespectful as the other.

I don't boo at the games....it takes too much energy. But I can see why others do when Miles goes full retard.

Running.....you need to GTFO here with you holier than thou attitude.

Look-the people that sit behind me are relentless. They mock Welter, they scream at Porter and they boo Jennings. They also have been going to games since the Nixon Administration. And they are good people to boot. They go as a family, they stay until the end and they are friendly to those who sit near them. They also have "targets" virtually every year. Big freaking deal.

I've stopped trying to figure people out. I control my OWN actions and the two feet sphere around me. And that's pretty much it. Once I stopped trying to control the Universe things became much more enjoyable for me.

I suggest you try a little personal humility. It's not your place to lecture or nanny other fans and to assume all kinds of horrible things about their character. Good people do things I disapprove of all day long, and it's their business, not mine. There is no societal requirement that everybody maintains my nearly-impossible level of boyish charm, good looks and dignified bearing.

I never have and never will boo an LSU player. And the "we're not booing you, Mr. player, we're booing the coach for playing you" BS is pretty lame. You could see all the players in the huddle getting protective of Jennings when the boos came down on him, putting their arms around him and tapping him on the helmet and shoulder. (That might have actually inspired the team some - I think that was right before they went on one of the early drives, albeit it was all running plays).

That said, overall the crowd last night was not bad. The ones who booed were frustrated by bad play against a very weak opponent, it was a minority of the stadium, and it didn't last long. Overall the crowd cheered well for its size and the fact that there were a lot more kids than usual because of family day. And like it or hate it, they had fun doing the wave.

But again, I agree wholeheartedly.
