What they need to do is have their representatives and leaders get more vocal about condemning violence in the name of Islam. There's been a lot of nothing, which leads people to think that they quietly support those actions.

How does one seek protection from something that doesn't exist?
If people were upset simply because other people practiced a religious belief system other than Christianity, then why don't we ever hear any concern expressed about people who practice Buddhism, Hinduism, etc?
People are sick and tired of Islam because, way too often, people who belong to this religion use their God manual as justification for killing Christians, Jews, even other Muslims.
There's no such thing as Islamophobia. There IS a legitimate concern for the epidemic of Muslim violence carried out in the name of Islam. It's only getting worse, btw. When a beheading can happen in Moore, OK, it can happen anywhere.
Don't expect Obama or Trackfan to lament the violence perpetrated in the name of Islam, though. Obama is on record as saying that anyone who does something bad is automatically not a follower of Islam, and our buddy trackfan won't even acknowledge the epidemic of Muslim violence perpetrated in the name of Islam.
Say what you will about the man, but at least George W. Bush would be calling this shite what it is.

Well then the "good" Muslims need to get together and stand against the radical Muslims. It's a battle for their religion as much as it is a battle for us.

Well then....the "good Muslims" need to band together and put a stop to crap the "radicals" have been doing for the last thousand years......or frickin die when we kill the rest of them!!!

If they move back to the islamic countries from which they came then they would not have to worry about it.

Do you believe in collective judgment? If the answer is yes, do you believe in it for everybody, or only select groups of people?

Stop killing infidels and honor killing female siblings/daughters and we'll get right on that.

Not all at the news conf. were muslims but I'm guessing probably 30-40 were out if the 100-120 total who were there.

Is not a phobia in the true sense of the word sense their is countless incidents associated with Islam that give everyone valid reason to be cautious if not fearful of all Muslims.
