0. i love dogs. i love my dogs more than most humans. i recognize that there are some lousy human beings and have zero pity that some people die early due to their own stupidity.

but still live in a mobile home.

they recently have been making some updates to it lately. I think there is a walk around porch now I drive 182 through bayou black everyday to avoid 311 traffic. I agree that all the new developments will turn to crap sooner than later. I also think that the new Valhi extension will turn into a cluster-frick with all of the stop signs instead of traffic lights

This is gonna get real bad; I hope the riots don't hit Baton Rouge too hard.

Officers say that the deputy involved is an African-American, 7-year member of the patrol division

Nevermind! Nothing to see here. Cancel the riots, people.

Eventually they will make Valhi Extension a 4 lane to help with traffic, plus it will be extended all the way to Hwy. 90 to be parallel with 311. They will have to do something with that road especially once they build that Sports Complex between 311 and Valhi Extension where the soccer fields are

On a serious note, I doubt this is exactly what happened, but based off the slim facts we have, I seriously question whether anyone needed to die in this situation.

4 lane will be nice. I wish they would make 311 a 4 lane. I take hwy 90 to 311 to savanna to bayou black everyday. it's a few extra mile but I miss so much traffic.

once that sports complex is built there will be a 4 lane for 311 and Valhi Ext. all the way to Hwy 90

the 311 widening is loooonnnngggg overdue. I hit that thing at around 8:45 one morning driving down to Dularge.
People in Houma have the same sense of urgency that Laffy peeps do- ZERO. Must be something in the water.

don't get me wrong... it's always gonna be "home", but i just don't think i would have been happy staying down there... even with Houma's emergence and new things coming to Raceland/Mathews...

btw, how old are you? i graduated CL in 2000...
