I don't think Kyle Maclachlan was cast to play Maximus the Mad. The Inhumans film down the road would likely have Maximus as huge character. This guy isn't Black Bolt's brother.
They might be Inhuman, but my guess is Mr.Hyde.

I'm not buying him being Mr. Hyde considering Mr. Hyde/Calvin Zabo wasn't an Inhuman.

I think they are just changing his origin. The point of this is to make Skye into Daisy Johnson. Daisy Johnson is a mutant. Changing her into an Inhuman makes it fit.
No member of the Inhuman Royal Family is going to be cast yet.

Wait, what makes you think that Sky's dad is anything but human? He was young when the Inhuman lady, appearently Sky's mother, was murdered by Whitehall and has aged normally. Up to that point I thought he could be part alien but not after that scene.

Have they showed him touching it? May have missed it but I don't recall him touching it when Raina delivers the diviner to him with that dude's hand still attached. I remember him saying he was going to teach her how to let it let her touch it. Since then it has stayed in it's case.
I'm not saying he doesn't have some kind of special power but they haven't tried to make him out to be some kind of alien. Unless he did touch it then...nevermind.

That same site guesses that "Issue 8" will explain everything and that Marvel will have no new mutants...only Inhumans.

Hasn't it already been rumored that Marvel has ordered its writers to ease up on creating many new mutants? It wouldn't be all that surprising since they seemingly canceled Fantastic 4 simply to spite Fox.
Anyway, he's been right on some things and wildly off on others. I just go there to see what he thinks more b/c he is good at pulling together random factoids about different characters and past story arcs since as a DC reader (mainly Captain Marvel) I don't know too much about the Marvel universe past the more popular characters.

yeah, just like the other poster said... he hasn't touched it yet, just FYI (I just finished blowing through all the episodes this season in 2 days)
ETA: I'm considering Skye to be a Human / Inhuman Hybrid - there are a few, one hero I was thinking possible with just a little bit of retcon'ing is a Joss Whedon creation actually: Abigail Brand

boo I forgot about that, buuuut since inhumans are going to be the xmen in the MCU, Joss created her... and she came out a LONG time after FOX got the rights to X-Men.... I'm hoping there is some kind of hidden clause in there that we don't know about, and that would be a pretty big reveal that nobody would see coming because of the circumstances if so.
