Politico trying to confuse the situation with a fluff piece.

Lerner, in 1996 at the FEC tried to prosecute Al Alvi who ran against Durbin in Illinois, then she offered not to prosecute if he would promise never to run agin. ( case thrown out by judge) She came after religious groups while at the FEC also, this woman is a liberal loyalist to the core, and the White House was obviously directing this fiasco, for Politico to print this “insider information” is beyond naive, and basically a propaganda piece.

Although it seems one bombshell may have come from an earlier interview Politico did with her attorney William Taylor III in June of this year according to The Last Refuge blog.

Smoking Gun Trail To White House - Possible IRS Bombshell Within Politico Interview Of Lois Lerner Attorney William Taylor III-When Questioned About Lerner Sending DOJ 501 (c) (4) Information “Justice requested the documents” ...

In a recent Politico ( publish date 6/27/14 ) interview with Lois Lerner's attorney William Taylor III an intresting aspect is buried midway through page # 2.

During part of the interview Politico author Rachel Bade inquires about the 1.1 million pages of documents Lerner sent to the DOJ that became an issue when discovered by the House Oversight Committee on June 9th 2014.

The documents were sent from IRS to DOJ on a series of 21 discs ( CD ROMS ) and according to the admission from the DOJ “contained legally protected taxpayer information that should not have ever been sent to the FBI”.

Some of the 501 (c) (4) documentation included confidential tax records “Schedule B” of IRS filings. These Schedule B's outline parties who contribute to, affiliate with, or people who support the 501 organization. Those tax filings are illegal to distribute.

Why the DOJ waited to inform congress, and why they only did so after Daryl Issa found out about their existence, was a matter of congressional consternation, but no one made a big deal about it.

Indeed all prior details and media reports of the interaction have been framed around the substance of legality, and illegality, for the IRS to actually send the confidential taxpayer data. This is indeed a concerning aspect - but we think we've uncovered something considerably more alarming about both the timing, and the substance.

Inside the Politico article is an explosivly revealing, defensively framed answer from attorney Taylor. He is specifically and directly stating it was NOT Lerner who initiated the inquiry:

“...[...] Taylor said Lerner didn't know [about the unlawful confidential aspect] and sent them because JUSTICE REQUESTED THE DOCUMENTS”...

Seems Politico may have “accidentally” broke some major news whilst trying to do some fluff work for the democrats.

So, the DOJ requested these 1.1 million documents !!!! The presidents own DOJ, run by his lacky Eric Holder.org

LMAO at this administration.

Wow, what a sweetie. . .there's a special place in heaven for people like Ms. Lerner. The woman risked limb and life to travel down South to rescue those poor animals. Personally, it made me shed tears to watch this animal rescue inspirational testimony.

Lois Lerner is a VICTIM of ridiculous tax laws, an absurd Citizens United Supreme Court decision, her own bosses, and a smear campaign by the Republican Party.

She will never face a minute of jail time, however.

Lois Lerner was a high up employee of the IRS. Even if she did nothing wrong, she was one of the leaders of a governmental organization whose entire existence is to violently collect money from the population.

To call her a victim of anything is laughable. It says an awful lot about a person when they choose, willingly, to work for a governmental unit that engages in confiscation.

You must be a fricked up person to long for such a job.

Rex is a good American citizen that requires subsidies from the 53% to pay for his health care.

Rex does not care how this money is acquired. It is not his worry. Rex, like millions of other Democrat voters, holds his hand out while he judges you. Rex, like millions of Democrat voters, is not man enough to just come and take it from you himself, legally or illegally, so he hides behind people like Lerner to do his dirty work.

Rex isn't fricked up as much as he is a result of the system that is in place. At some point, who do you blame? Rex, the hundreds of millions like him in America, or the system that encourages their behavior?

Lerner is a VICTIM of tax laws, but "the rich" that par a massively disproportionate amount of the taxes aren't?

Massive logic failure.

Lerner needs a long vacation in a very small room, with bars on the windows.
