Lets start with Les. I like Les. He's a nice guy, BUT. When you make $3 million a year plus, I expect you to win every game. Maybe lose one or 2 at the most. If you lose 3 or 4,then maybe you should make about $1million a year. Also, being head coach at LSU you should be able to recruit the best QB in the country or at least a top 5.

Now lets look at the defense. Lets just say the defensive coaching is terrible. Its the same as last year. The d line cant pressure the QB. How many 3rd and 7 plus yards did LSU have last night? At least 7 or 8. And MSU converted all of them for lack of pass rush. When Alabama d has 3rd and 7 what happens? Strong pass rush up the middle. QB gets sacked or hurried and incomplete pass. Also the DB's need to be coached to stick their hand thru the receivers hand when they go for a pass. Especially when LSU DB is 6feet and MSU receiver is 6-5. Everybody else employs this technique why haven't we?

On the offensive side. How about lets utilize some of our weapons. Like the halfback, tailback and tight end. When MSU blitzed us or overpowered our O line, why don't we dump the ball to Hilliard or Fournett in the flat and let em run for days. Send the receivers on go routs to take CB's down field then our RB's can go. This will slow down their pass rush as well. Lastly, get the TE involved in some pass plays over the middle and in the flat.

One last thing about the game last night. The center, DAy, for MSU played dirty stepping on our players. He made it look like accident but I don't think so. Don't we have any nasty players on defense. Somebody should have told him "I'm going to knock your arse off and then do it". I almost did it and I'm fifty something. Jeese.

Well there were backs running out the backfield and a slot receiver but Jennings tossed the ball 40 yard down field a lot..

refs tend to throw the flag for that. We don't need 15 yard penalties on top of all our other troubles

oh, so that's the secret. Somebody needs to tell Miles about this. If we get a strong pass rush the QB will get sacked or hurried and throw and incomplete pass. What about this? if we block better our RB 's will get more yards. Or if our recievers catch the ball more they will get more yards. If they cross the goal line they will get more points. If our kicker kicks the ball between the posts we will get a field goal.

I don't expect Les to win every game, but I expect better adjustments and more creative plays with the coaching staff we have, especially with the money they make and the experience we have. First downs should not be a celebrated feat for this talented team

B+ for effort. Not so good on the content. Bottom line, when that many veteran players leave for the NFL (or, at least, try to) each year, it is impossible for us to remain dominant in the trenches. I don't care how good they were in high school, unless they're absolute freaks (like Nkemdiche), they're just not going to be that effective without a year or two of collegiate level strength and conditioning. Moo State had a bunch of 3,4,and 5th year players pushing our guys around like they were scout teamers.

And by the way, if you haven't noticed, a lot of our freaks are leaving the state (CRob, GW3, Speedy, Kenny Young, et al).

Your argument is based on a foundation of logical fallacies.

Besides that, I share your frustration. Last night was hard to stomach.

There is like 237 combinations of fail and failure to understand basic football premise in this one sentence. It really is a thing of beauty.
