Miles lost game.

Reminded me of the Alabama national championship game. Sticking with Jefferson. Jennings missing open receiver after open receiver was ridiculous. I know miles didn't want to hurt his confidence yanking him too early but Harris should have started the 4th quarter. I waited until LSU's 2nd possession in the 4th and when Harris didn't go out I was gone. 1st game I have left in my lifetime. I didn't quit the tigers this game I quit Les Miles "this game".

I totally disagree. Harris should have started after half time.

Which one ??

Does this mean Miles is responsible for winning the 98 games LSU has won since he's been head coach here?

Moron. Less than moron. That loss is on the defense. The fact that LSU put up 19 meaningless points in garbage time against MSU's backups and their turnovers is irrelevant.

It was a team loss.
Defense had more holes than swiss cheese, and the offense couldn't move the ball.
(Offense) Not being able to score after 4 downs from the 2, and two 3rd and long touchdowns (defense) were all you needed to know about that game...

Very mature analysis. I lost my teddy bear. Someone's to blame. Someone must pay!

It was a poor performance by the entire team, starting with the coaches.
I have a slightly different take on the play calling that cost us the game. On 4th and goal from the 2...kick a field goal and get 3 points. Instead of going for 2, we kick the extra points. That's 5 points. That sends it to OT at home.

Damn... I never saw Miles take the field!

I personally liked the series before half time. You know, after a defensive stop and a timeout, running the ball, letting 20+ seconds run and then calling a timeout with 3 seconds left to call a screen pass. Some points there wouldn't have done anything for us at the end of the game...

Spurrier would've yanked him.

Miles' ego is a detriment to this team. 2 tight ends and a full backfield from the three. 5 tries (4 runs up the middle) and no TD. Miles' broke his own teams will.

Let's just live through whatever" growing pains " we have to with Brandon Harris.
Jennings has played a lil better than I thought he would but...![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Icongeauxtigers.png)

Yes, that game reminded me of that game alot from a coaching stand point. Only thing different was that we actually scored against Moo St. No adjustments at half and no trying a different QB to try and get something started on offense. The Harris kid is clearly the right choice to go with right now. You can tell he is a way better passer and with some games under his belt he will be on his way. Of course we can see this but I guess our coach could'nt. The defense stunk in this game just like in that game too. I dont remember the last time we had so many runs up the middle against us for so many yards. That was an embarassment and yes the coaches lost this game clearly!

If you think Jennings was the #1 reason for the loss, then you don't know football.
Reasons for the loss in order IMO:
1. Defensive tackle - we are just too young and weak here
2. Offensive personnel groupings - too much I formation with 1-2 te's
3. Offensive line inability to run block against even numbers and pick up a blitz
4. Secondary in single coverage - Ronald Martin got beat a couple times badly and other guys lost matchups against a mediocre miss st receiving corp.
5. Jennings - It is easy to say yank him after seeing Harris in the 4th quarter, but Harris was able to throw the ball in a wide open offense against prevent. Jennings has been successful in that against Arkansas and Wisconsin. I do think Harris should see a lot of reps this weekend and then make a decision before Auburn.

Can't say it was ALL Mile's fault, but his let's play not to lose the game approach to offense isnt helping his cause...trying to protect a young QB from doing something to hurt the team's chances to win, is keeping LSU from being the best team they can be....open up the play book...
But, msu came out and beat the crap out of us, plain and simple...they won the battle of the LOS...and all the coaching will not fix a problem when you're on your butt watching the opposing players run by you...

pitiful play calling. Running it up the gut made Miles look stupid.
