What will at&t charge to re-run the line in my yard?

Called and they came mark my yard and my concrete guy proceeded to destroy the cable at each location it crossed my footing. Anyway, what will they charge to re-run my line? If it's something crazy, I'll just cancel my DSL and switch to cable. Internet.

Thanks for the insight.

I had to have mine spliced a few years ago when I cut it while drilling holes for my deck. The guy came out and they didn't charge me anything.

This is going to take a full re-routing.

I don't really see why you would have to come out of pocket for this problem.
Option 1 would be the concrete guy pay for it. Option 2 would be you cancel your AT&T DSL and switch to cable if they don't fix it for free.

I'm asking the approximate back charge I'll have to apply to my concrete guy's bill.

It is; like $175. Tell them you'll switch and they will do it for free. It's what I did, and they did it for free.

I have to have a land line for my home office. I had some problems shortly after we had a tornado in the area. AT&T was out to fix the problem a couple of hours after I called. Repairman said so many people had dropped home phone service they didn't have many residential repair calls. AT&T may do it for free to keep a residential customer.

Hopefully I can talk them into free.

If it costs anything, send the bill to the concrete guy.
When I was having my sewer line put in last year, they cut the AT&T line on the street. AT&T ended up charging them.

I think y'all are overestimating the legitimacy of my concrete contractor.

You make absolutely no sense.
I say its concrete guys problem and you respond with "thanks for the insight". In your OP you say if its too much you will cancel the service. Well what is your plan dumbass?

Well, dumb arse, I was clearly asking an estimate as to how much it would cost. You didn't answer that question. I replied with a sarcastic "thanks".
What my plans are after the fact have no bearing on the price regardless of who pays it.

So your contractor put in a one-call, the ATT rep actually came out, located and marked their line, and he still somehow cut it? frick, your contractor is inept as frick.
