Most dominant team USA since 92-94 and people have dumped all over this roster since day 1

No. They got very lucky with their draw. 90% of the actual decent competition was on the other side of the groups.

Basically. France would have been dangerous with Tony Parker and Noah.

A team for everyone besides the French squad.

People have shite on this US team so much. But they blew out the same Lithuanian squad that almost knocked off the 2012 squad with all of our big names.

Almost every team they played was supposedly going to be a better challenge the last one and it never happened. Serbia was supposed to be a tougher matchup.

I'm not saying they aren't good, but they avoided majority of the top 10 teams.

The last couple of Olympic teams with Kobe, LeBron, KD, Melo, and CP3 were better. Melo has just been unfair in the international game.

We avoided Spain. That's it. And it was the Spanish association and FIBA that wanted us to avoid Spain until the finals. It was designed so the top 2 seeds would be on opposite ends of the bracket.

Don't act like our result would have been any different against Croatia than it was against Serbia or Slovenia.

Or that the Argentines, who haven't produced a good player since Delfino, would do anything against us.
