man that looks really sharp. i hope they are smart enough to go with that on all PCs and keep the full metro menu for tablets.

From what I watched of the video, he changed the taskbar properties and pulled up Metro. I don't know what default settings are, but unless I miswatched the video, your hopes seem to be reality.

I like it actually. Something like that would be much easier to sell to my user base vs the jarring experience that Win7->Win8 is.

I've read that a user will be able to create multiple desktops similar to ubuntu
