Not really, but it hit his hand and even if it didn't then foul tip at the very least. Made 0 sense.

Here's a question... If you swing and the ball hits your hand, not the bat, but goes into fair territory, is it a hit or a strike? Based on this sequence I just saw, it's a strike, but is the ball live?

It's a strike and the ball is dead.

I dont think so. Back in my baseball days that happened twice and both times Umps said hands are considered part of the bat

Per baseball official rule 6.08(b), a batter becomes a baserunner and is awarded first base when he or his equipment (except for his bat):
is touched by a pitched ball outside of the strike zone,
and he attempts to avoid it (or had no opportunity to avoid it),
and he did not swing at the pitch.[1]
If all these conditions are met, the ball is dead, and other baserunners advance if they are forced to vacate their base by the batter taking first. Rule 5.09(a) further clarifies that a hit by pitch is also called when a pitch touches a batter's clothing.[2]
In the case where a batter swings and the pitch hits him anyway, the ball is dead and a strike is called.[3]

If hands were part of the bat, that would have been called a foul ball.

Don't know how to post pics from my phone, but someone should post the pic of delino deshields from earlier this season when he got hit in the cheek with a 90 mph pitch. The pitch that hit Stanton was 88 mph, so it may be similar.
Deshields had no lingering effects and was posting pics of his face not too long after, so hopefully Stanton recovers just as quickly.

Are you sure? I thought it was live.

More ejections. Marlins' pitcher and bench coach tossed after Brewers' batter hit.
