So is there really no ramp to get up to the New South Upper?

I know this is the Rant and people like to bitch but there seriously just elevators to get up tho the South Upper as i've seen people say? That can't be compliant to Fire Code.

Apparently no ramp for East upper either. Not sure why it's closed

So are there stairs for the South Upper? Just elevators could not be in fire code, right?

Yea, there's no way an elevator is the only way to get up or down.

So wait, no one is using the set of ramps that you used to be able to use to get to the East Upper? I assumed the SEZ Upper was at least using it. Getting down from the East Upper last night was bad and we left when the place was empty. The escalator broke so the only option was the stairs. We watched a few elderly couples struggle to get down. It was ridiculous. The bigger games will be a nightmare up there.

I'm sure there are stairs somewhere to get down in case of a fire, but the doors to go up before the game are locked. The only way up are two elevators with a big line.

There has to be some sort of stairs that someone could use to get up to the South Upper.

There's big metal stairs that go up to the top I think. There's a staff/emergency exit to the ground or club level from the east side, next to the men's restrooms.

The only gate listed on my EU ticket is 9, which I assume is the escalator. I went in Gate 22 last night, which is right next to the South Stadium Club entrance. Ticket scanned just fine, and once in you can hang a right and walk about 20 yards and there is the ramps everybody used to go up. My daughter and I walked up all by ourselves, we only saw 2 or 3 other people using it. But it was wide open as usual last night. Now whether or not Gate 22 will always let me in might be a different story, who knows.

I've never seen concrete burn

you can use ramp to east upper as in past, but the staff were not all aware last night and made it a nightmare.
after talking with multiple staff - need to go in gates 22-28 then go right to ramp. Signage and staff have just not been adequately updated

Escalators don't break. They just temporarily become stairs.

As a building official, there is no way there isn't a secondary means of egress. Its not just about fire, whoever mentioned not seeing concrete burn. There are many reasons to have to quickly and safely have the occupants exit. Weather, terrorism...

There are metal stairways that go up, and I'm sure if you looked around in the upper concourse you'd find emergency exits going to them.
As far as just getting to and from your seats in the upper concourse of the new SEZ though, the doors at the top of the stairs are locked and there are no ramps. The only way up and the only way down are the two elevators.
I walked around for a little bit looking for another way up because I couldn't believe they would design it that way.
