The term game manager is so overrated and a load of bull shite. Managing the game is getting your offense in the right play. Also being able to read the field and progress through your reads. Some of yall don't understand how crucial it is to make the right read. Russel Wilson is elite in that area.

He benefits greatly from his situation. I think eventually, hell be a top 5 QB. For the time being though, the fact that they dont need him to be great gives him the opportunity to learn on the job without a ton of pressure.

I think he is in a good situation where he is going to do more and more each year once Lynch starts to realize he is 28 and has carried the ball 1750 times.

Great QB. Throws that "on the run" intermediate/deep ball better than anybody in NFL history IMO.

He is a great playmaker. Doesn't mean big plays, but he makes plays at exactly the right time and doesn't frick up a lot.

My thoughts on Wilson....

1 - after talking with Wisconsin fans last weekend, they are way too quick to act like he spent five years there. ONE YEAR on a BS rule buckys! That's it! Get over it.

2 - He is really good right now, won't know if he is great or even elite until asked to do more.

3 - I hate the Seahawks.

Smart game manager who does just enough to not let his team lose and the defense win? Or potential superstar 5,000 yard thrower?

somewhere in between.... he's incredibly smart, to his credit, and a very hard worker...
they may not throw it enough for him to get to 5,000 yards, but that's because they tend to have a lead and then close out games by running vs. being behind and having to chunk it to catch up....

Much more than a game manager but wont be a guy to sling it around all game. Dudes a very good qb. I dont get why people need to put him in a certain group
