This is false, they check sometimes, but probably not this game

Where? I never saw it happen once from 03-11. Not for Bama, not for UF. Never.

The only sections you can't get to the SS from are the 600's of the east upper.

If so do the tickets have to be close by (north end zone) or could i just get seats in the 600s and come down?

The only way this is possible is if you get west uppers and go in early enough to bypass the guards on the track or hop over the concrete wall.

I've done it several times. The trick is picking an area that has a bunch of people so the sheriff's deputies don't see you.

ETA: Don't go up the ramp to the upper deck. Go straight to the ramps for the 100's

The only positive I see from not sitting in the student section anymore is that it'll be easier to sneak liquor in.

The only gate that checks for hidden alcohol is the student gate. I get tix to other sections around the stadium. Get my whiskey in, and sneak into the SS. Never had a problem.

I have 1 season ticket for sale in the north endzone, section 208. A couple of years ago someone bought my extra ticket so that she could sit in the student section across from their sister/cousin that was in the band. I talked to her a couple of times during the year and she never said that she had a problem getting to the student section.

I don't know if its supposed to be difficult but I sat in the SS the entire game for Arkansas 2011. I just walked in the west side gate and up a ramp that met where the students were filing in. Surprisingly easy. Never had a problem.

Huh, maybe it's just the Greek section. I've sat in both, thought I've been checked in the reg student section, but maybe not

This thread comes up every year. Do a google search for the topic.

I've posted in a couple o the threads with specific details, and I can remember someone including detailed instructions with locations and pictures in one of them.

We take sneaking into the student section very seriously around here.
