The speed differential appeared to be in our secondary vs your wideouts, even Gordon got hawked (might have been injured during run but didn't look like he broke stride until trying to avoid Collins). Also in dural vs your secondary.

Our WRs, DBs, LBs, and WRs are way faster. Except for the LB position, it showed all game.

I agree. They need to beat Nebraska and Iowa and make it to the Big 10 championship game. We need you to do that for our SOS.

I will definitely be making the 6 hour drive to Lambeau. Gonna be great having a game so close for once.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm incredibly biased, but I think that any football fan should experience Lambeau at least once in their lives. Preferably for a Packer game because the atmosphere is pretty special, but that game will be something.

Are you in the city? Is Blue Bayou still the LSU bar?

Actually, I just read that you said six hour drive. I assume you live in champaign or bloomington?

It's in Green Bay unfortunately.

Is it going to be a strange feeling for Wisconsin fans seeing LSU sporting the same colors as the Packers (yellow helmet and pants w/white jersey)? Seems to me we're gonna look like the home team. I know I'm excited to see this!!

I agree with Chicken nice post!

Gordon is the real deal but Kwon Alexander knocked the "you know what" out of him on his last run to push him out of bounds and cause his hip flexor.

Safety #31 for Wisconsin talked schmack all week about how LSU didn't have a size or particularly big speed advantage, and then Dural ran by him twice and Diarse ran over him and past him once. Even Hilliard our RB ran by your safeties on the way to the endzone.

Gordon got run down from behind so I think the speed issue was an issue for Wisconsin, but I'm not downplaying the injuries.

In the end The very sizeable OL for the Badgers were holding all night long and on the jet sweep, the TE #49 had his arms wrapped around the outside of our safety which resulted in a TD but no penalty. The refs let a lot go on both sides but the holding on Wisconsin may have been called once all night. They are very good at holding and Gordon is very fast and agile.

Good luck the rest of the way. You'll get your chance for revenge in Lambeau soon.

Apparently the injury happened in the second quarter.

"Badgers coach Gary Andersen said on Monday that his junior running back suffered a hip flexor strain during the game. Gordon later told reporters that the injury occurred late in the second quarter. "

So obviously affected his carries in the second half, and the hit on the 63 yarder was relatively uneventful.

It looked like he got hurt on the play where Debo (#45) came from his blindside and cracked the shite out of his hip. Gordon was looking the other way and cutting and didn't see Jones coming. He gets up with some wincing in his face.

It was a few minutes before half I believe.

You guys suffered some in-game injuries but that is all part of the game. LSU started a DT with a partially torn bicep which obviously reduced his efficiency from watching the replay. They also left 5 players behind in BR, one with injury and 4 suspended, who would have all played in the game. I do think UW is as good as they showed; in both halves. They didn't suddenly play poorly in the second half. The LSU coaches revised their game plans and rallied a terrific group of athletes to overcome the Badgers. Quite frankly, you can look for LSU to vastly improve during the season, especially given the number of youngsters they are playing. I think UW will also improve, particularly in the passing game.

STick around..there's more to this board than LSU sports. If you're an NBA/MLB/NHL fan, the More Sports Board is the place for you to stay

Badgers
Packers
Cubs
Blackhawks

I'll definitely be sure to hang around that board.

And part of the reason I came over a while back, aside from the upcoming game against you guys, was because I believed that this was where LSU freek lived
