It's in Green Bay unfortunately.

That alone is going to make it difficult on LSU fans. Not exactly a ton of direct flights in there from the South. I do predict though, that it'll be a tougher overall ticket than this game simply because of how historic that game will be and how sacred most people in Wisconsin hold Lambeau. I know I'll pay whatever it takes.

Great insights. Great post. Spot on across the board... Pretty good thinking for that cheese fog you guys are usually in... The game was a blast. I really wanted it to be a little more coordinated with your "jump" and our "callin' Baton Rouge..." While you were jumping, our band was playing it loud... Still, it was fun. Gordon in the whole game and you win IMO.

I imagine so. I got on the Packers season ticket list simply to get an edge on tickets for this game. May work, may not.

Given the long notice, time of year, and uniqueness of the trip, I predict a lot of LSU fans planning around this trip.

"Neck" in Lambeaux will be fantastic

Nice post. Pretty good summary of where our teams are at at this stage. Gordon is a great back. Dont be so down on your Qb . He was facing one of the premier secondaries in the nation. Our team is very young and i was pleased to see they never gave up. Wishing Wisky the best of luck on the season.

You are going to be surprised how many LSU fans will show up to Lambeau, even if they don't have tickets.
LSU travels extremely well.

Thanks for the kind words across the board guys.

I would highly doubt they'll give ticket rights to people on the waiting list...maybe actual season ticket holders, but I don't think that's the plan. Did they do that for this game?

Most packer fans put their kids on the season ticket list when they're born and they generally get them in their 30s if they're lucky.

It's gonna be cramped in those bars in GB

Non-related story from Saturday night.

My girlfriend leaves the bar because she's hammered, and calls me later to tell me she can't get out of the condo. I think she's drunk. I get home at about 1:30am piss drunk eating a cheeseburger and the lock really is broken. So she's stuck in and I'm stuck out.

So I call the first locksmith that comes up in my phone, finish my food, and pass out in my hallway. The guy eventually gets there around 1:45 and wakes me up. He ends up getting me in after about 20 minutes. I have to go downstairs to sign the paperwork ($205), and when we're out by the street a cop does the thing where they turn on their lights because they don't want to wait for the signal.

So he does that, and a cab slams on his brakes. Some dude on a motorcycle following loses control and as he's laying his bike down slams into the back of the cab. The cop, who clearly was not responding to an emergency, simply pulls over to tend to the accident they had caused. I think the dude had either a head injury or he was drunk.

I signed the paperwork and came upstairs, put my toolbox in front of the door so I would get woken up if anyone came into my condo to kill us, and went to bed.

I remember thinking about what a weird night it had been. So, yes, the badgers lost and I spent almost $400 on bar tab and locksmith, but it could have been worse...I could have been the guy on the motorcycle.

It's Green Bay. Full of Packer fans. Not the first rodeo in that town.

Though I do anticipate the bars will get quite a bit more traffic than a normal home game due to all the people staying in or around town.

Don't know about this game. I'm on Saints waiting list. You can buy tickets to events before they go on sale to public. I'm not banking on anything, just wanted to get on email list. Obviously Packers have a longer list than Saints

Good luck the rest of the season.

You guys as well. And make sure to hang 50 on Arkansas when you play them. I may make my way to the LSU bar in town for that one.

You're right, but it's a legit concern. Seattle ran dry in 2009. It was a disaster

Will do. I came over to get some LSU fan exposure about six months ago leading up to the game, so now that I have it I might as well hang out. Hell, we've got a game in two years.
