I see your point kind of. HC has multiple D-2 Championships from when he was at Delaware, and the OC runs a high flying scheme. I think our DB's will be busy early; but like a previous poster said- worn down in the 2nd half by the beating (OL\DL battles) they're going to take.

They run an offensive scheme that historically gives LSU problems.

This really shows that you don't follow College football...Now, they are loaded with Offensive talent, and could give LSU fits, but its just not a Historic statement..

I think we win 45-21, their offense will put up a good chunk of yards on our defense.

Can you quantify this? Be specific.

I'm going to give you an up vote. SHSU is a decent squad, and if overlooked they will give us fits. Not too long ago a really bad 1-AA team had us in a ball game for three quarters. This is a really good 1-AA team. I wouldn't be surprised if this game was somewhat competitive. Maybe a 20-28 pt spread.

Nope, Jesus has a lot of talent, not going to argue that...They have quite a bit of 4 star transfers, and have been putting up over 600 yrds per game..

I would hope our players and coaches are taking Sam Houston seriously. Fans on a message board are allowed to look ahead, though. It may be somewhat close at halftime, but I think we wear them down in the second half, just like we did to Wisconsin.

U want to put 500$ on it! LSU will win by at least 30. We'll be up at half by 17!!! Our secondary is the best in the nation and we go at least 2 deep!!

I predict we blow SH away and play great and the RANT lights up with posts that the Whisky game was a fluke and we will be in the playoffs without a doubt!!

You'll have some people telling you you're an idiot, probably the same ones who posted "it's just Ole Miss" last year. They never learn. I think it's quite possible that this game is close into the late third quarter, which will cause the same folks to rant and rave. I actually think having a young team may help. They may be looking for a chance to shine. I won't be surprised if it's close until the 4th quarter, though.

Nope, 7-4 in 2012 and won a share of their conference title. Last year they made a run to the national championship game and lost to North Dakota St.

You do realize they are a pass happy offense and LSU is stacked to defend it. Their best wide receiver transferred from a north Texas or TCU. Don't remember which one. In fact, I thing a large amount of their players were recruited to D-1 schools but ended up in FCS

IF LSU is better than the majority of D1 schools then they shouldn't struggle agains a team of D1 rejects

People freak the frick out after a comeback win over a top-15 team to open the season. Of course they'll freak if we don't win by 60.
