Has anyone here ever did Scales & Ales at Audubon Aquarium?

I posted this question on the F&D board and got no replies. Has anyone done this event at the Audubon Aquairum and is it worth it?

Honestly no. It is overcrowded and underwhelming. Last year they basically ran out of boose and the food was nothing special.
Tales and Ales at the Fairgrounds however is awesome.

BC they actually do stunts and flips. Most of them are actual athletes. Pro sports teams and some college teams have dancers. You ever see a Saintsation get tossed 20 feet in the air?

There are a ton of these generic beer charity events these days. It's nothing special, but I'm sure one could drink and have fun.

Food wasn't terrible but don't go hungry. Everything else above is very accurate. It's just another excuse to dress up and go enjoy a night on the river and see some familiar faces.

Who cares if they can soar 20 ft in the air and are caught by some homos. I would rather have pom pom shakers with a couple of good shakers up top, like USC.
