What is he forgetting? Mathieu even said he didn't play well against BAMA.

Really curious when this myth will die out.

He was beaten on like 2, maybe 3 plays where the ball was placed ON THE MONEY. I hardly consider that exposed. Maybe by the unbelievable standard he set for himself throughout his 2 years that would be "exposed", but otherwise - no.

I said "selective". He is picking that game and forgetting that his 2 seasons were arguably the best ever by an LSU defender regardless of position.

Not to mention that he wasn't exposed. If you say that, then you'd have to say that Peterson was "exposed" when Julio torched him. The argument is stupid.

Pretty sure Peterson or Webster would have defended at least half of those balls that went for completions over TM due to his short stature.

LOL the rant. Julio Jones had a great game against Peterson. EXPOSED!!

I don't care what any of you rantards say, Mathieu below Mo and Webster is dumb.

He wasn't really even a corner back. He played nickel and kind of did whatever he wanted.

His best game was playing safety against Arkansas when he could cover wherever he wanted to.

Comparing him straight up as a 1,2 corner.. And he probably shouldn't be on the list.

But he's the best defensive playmaker LSU's had in a generation.

AJ played a perfect game. Passes were just right on the money.

Webster had a pretty long career in the nfl. I'd say he belongs on the list

he was exposed in the NC game as much as i would hate to say it.

I don't agree with that statement at all. It wasn't TM's greatest game, but he was by no means exposed. He never got badly burned. McMuffin and that receiver (can't remember his name)played the games of their lives and took what the defensive scheme gave them. They were still settling for field goals if you remember. The LSU offensive ineptitude was the culprit in that game. No blame can be placed on any part of the defense.
