Season needs to start, soon. This is bad even for the rant.

All in for D-Willy!!!

Williams has more quickness (burst speed) and has shiftier footwork.
quote:This is a stupid thing to say. This is just because retarded fanbases like the one we have, have ridiculous expectations. 5stars still have a greater chance of doing well than 4stars or 3stars historically.
There's also the unfortunate fact that thoroughly hyped 5-star skill players underperform relative to expectations far more often than not.

It has crossed my mind. Yes.

You never can tell about the potential of football signees. In 1982 LSU signed Garry James, Karl Bernard, Gill Fenerty(later tranferred to Holy Cross)and Dalton Hilliard.Hilliard later became the best of the lot and one of the best LSU running backs to ever play for LSU.Only time will tell.

Williams reminds me of a younger Spencer Ware

Back in the 80's there was all the hype around Gary James, but Dalton Hilliard emerged as the real star.

Better? No. Good? Yes.
I wish he would play LB because he would be a stud.

Not a very educated post, in my opinion.

Williams is the backup.
The backup is always the better guy that should be starting at LSU.
Flynn was better than Jamarcus
Jefferson was better than Lee
then Lee was better than Jefferson
if Harris starts, Jennings will be better. If Jennings starts, Harris will be better.
If Buga starts, Williams will be better, if Williams starts, Buga will be the better back.
so on and so forth at any position etc etc etc
Cam is second to Les, so Cam would be the better head coach.

I don't think Williams has better footwork.
I wouldn't worry too much about Fournette running style he knows when to keep his pads low.

We'll see, and that just it. Very few fans have assessed him much, because just like in high school, he's in the shadow of LF. I forgot who I heard say this (may have been Lynn Scarborough (sp)), but in any other year, this kid is far and away the top recruit in the state, and has scouts drooling. While I think LF is a "generational" player, I won't be surprised if DW turns out to be a stud in his own right.
Tell you one thing straight up. Any running back the signs w/LSU in the same year as LF is supremely confident, and THINKS he's pretty dang good.

Les better put them in the same backfield.

It is possible that we could have a second coming of the Dalton-James gang, yes... Only this time it will be surrounded by top tier talent around them on both sides of the ball.
