I love and respect law enforcement but that seemed to me to be excessive force.
Now granted, I don't know the situation..why did they not have tasers to use? Are these cops not issued them? Are they trained to pull guns when it's a deadly weapon instead of the taser?
Once this video get's out, which it has, that entire area is going to explode.

Didn't you know that the prevailing paradigm for law enforcement now is that they themselves above all other people must go home safely at night?
They will shoot you if you threaten them in any way. They know they won't get in trouble for it. They are trained to do it.

When they got out of the car he had his hand in his pocket, they drew their weapons (correct move) they then can not call time out and put their guns away to then grab their tasers just because he took his hands out of his pocket.
If he has a knife and lunges he is going to die. If he had the knife out when they arrived then they have to decide if they are going taser or gun at that point but since he had his hands in his pocket gun is what they go with.

MANY do not ! The lefties and hate police crowd complain so much about tasers some departments and/or officers decide not to use them.

Yes, he can close that gap quickly, if you miss with the taser the knifes on you.

You won't get shot if you don't approach the officers with a deadly weapon. You don't expect this crowd to understand this do you ? Their actions are expected.
