Don't give up
Don't you ever give up

What I posted is entirely too important to be last on the page
Hopefully you're not retarded and are still in college. If so the most solid advice I have ever received in my life, and the only bit I will gladly give to anyone and everyone.
Replace "high school" with "work" "get a job" or "graduate college"

I'm only 3 years older than you, but assuming you are a junior/senior in college this is my advice
You may have a ton of friends now but remember only a small number will remain your true friends after college. That doesn't mean you will hate everyone else, but the natural progression of life will drift you apart.
If you move to a new city after graduation be prepared to go outside your comfort zone, join clubs, go to things you wouldn't normally go to, join your local alumni association and start meeting people. It's a lot harder to meet like minded people in the real world than in college

Enthusiasm is a skill in itself.
My sister works in the career services department of a New Mexico university. A kid there did not have the grades to get access to the interviewing process during a job fair. He knew which company he wanted to work for though, and just sat outside the booth. As soon as someone didn't show up, he asked if he could take their spot, and showed a knowledge of the company and extreme talent in the interview process. Other companies were clamoring to talk to the kid after he had finished with the first interview. His biggest asset was preparation and enthusiasm. Both of those will get you far in life.

Work in the oilfield for ten years, don't piss away your money like you're rich or something, bank all your extra cash and start something new if you're not in the office by that point.

You ever heard that song by Joe Jackson "Is she really going out with him"?
The first verse is telling, "pretty women out walking with gorillas down my street". Always hit above your average, go ahead, ask that OT dime out. All she can say is no, and chances are she'll say yes, hence the first verse of the Joe Jackson song.
Trust me on this.
Oh, don't spend much on college and make good grades. It worked for me.

Regret is far harder to deal with than failure is. This advice can be applied personally and professionally.

Don't be afraid to take a couple of risks (new city, different kind of work, etc). It will never be cheaper/easier to shake up your life than it is today.

Don't go the typical route through life simply because you think that's what you're supposed to do. There is no pre-made outline for life. Life is too short to live the cookie-cutter life of working a 9-5, buying a house with a white picket fence, and hoping you retire at age 65, only to be too tired to enjoy your free time. Do what you want and don't look back.

If you have the opportunity to go on a trip (and can legitimately afford it without succumbing to CC debt) do it. You won't be able to take a 6 week vacation when you start working. Right now is the point in life where you can do anything cheap.
