He's a quarterback. Was recruited as one (also held offers from Oregon, Florida, Texas, and WVU) out of JUCO. Lost out to Stave in the QB competition last season, but is a very, very athletic kid. Too athletic to keep off the field.
Recruited by Oregon, Fla, WVU, and Texas, tells you this kid has immense talent for a QB. Just shows how ignorant some of our fans are, our Tigers Defense had better be ready for anything.

hopsgalore, keep posting in general.
If your new coach is trying to install a new offense with your OL and RB's with emphasis on speed over power, you may surprise us early, but Chavis will quickly adjust. This strategy will play right into our strengths defensively.
It might work long term for Wisky, but that would be doing LSU a huge favor.

I certainly hope this directive puts a stop to this silliness.
( it has, right?)

no, I'm now upping the ante, LF will rush for 1000 yds. in the first quarter, we will win 100-0, a statue(of Les and LF) un-vailing will await the teams arrival in BR

I hear that before he was even conceived, the mere thought of Fournette's birth inspired Chuck Norris to become the baddest man alive just so he could pass the torch to LF.

Anyone who has been watching college football for more than 5 years knows this will be a tough game. Both of these schools have alot of pride, and Wisconsin has always been well coached.

Pretty sure Stave is going to be the QB cause the converted safety isnt playing well

Those same people know that LSU hasn't lost a regular season OOC game since the Saban era. And we absolutely dominate in neutral site games in Texas.

LF's parents gave him a toy drum for Christmas when he was an infant, the first thing he drummed was the Morse Code, in Italian

Or that those schools had shitty QB situations. The fact that he spent last season as a Safety tells me his talent as a QB is questionable.

yea, the same ranters who mock Miles's coaching decisions and abilities along with some of our players abilities. Those ranters!

Oregon had a shitty QB situation? Sounds like you're well informed.

So he could be as good as Mett as a Juco transfer or maybe not, with being without the work last year at qb.

Wisconsin is possibly going start a former Safety at QB. Chavis will randy marsh himself.
This narrative needs to stop. He was recruited as a quarterback and lost out on the competition to Stave in 2013. Very athletic kid that needed to see the field in some shape or form.
Sounds like Nick Marshall.

i'll give Wisky +6.5 to anyone on here saying this will be a close game

LSU will struggle to throw and i expect lots of confusion on offense.
I am inclined to agree with this statement. This team may be similar to the Mr. Jefferson QB'd teams in which passing, when successful was a happy accident. Outside of last year, LSU again begins a season with a completely inexperienced QB since JaMarcus Russell? LSU should anticipate a hard box unless and until they are able to loosen things up with some completions down field. Screens and swing passes can take things only so far.
On the other hand, maybe CLM has an option offense in store which could, with the proper personnel and execution, wear defenses (even Saban's) down by the 4th quarter.
The defense is even more a a mystery to me. If it can get consistent and disruptive pressure from the line, then it will be a force. If it is soft up the middle, not much else will matter...

They are a very good team. This will be a real game
