This year's LSU roster is better than last year. We're young at some key spots, but insanely talented at those very spots.

The 2014 LSU tigers will be better than the 2013 tigers. We'll have a blemish or two, and the offense may not be as productive and pass-happy as last year, but we'll be back to a Top10 defense IMO and we'll finish 10-2 with a chance of closing out 11-1 as we'll go into November and the Bama/Arky/A&M stretch with only one loss.

We will not lose more than 2 games in the regular season IMO. I have us losing @Auburn and blowing our regular season finale with the chance to finish 11-1 @A&m.

you act as if tcu returning a kickoff for a td was luck

it wasn't a stellar example of our Special teams work, I'm just of the opinion that that game wasn't nearly as close as the final score, and that TCU never really posed a threat, of course if you read the Ft. Worth Startle-gram, Gary Patterson acted as if they'd kicked our arse all over the field and sent us home crying

we agree on that, he is one pompous arse SOB

BTW: he couldn't get us out of his head last year, he brought that game up every week for about half the season using it as a barometer for gauging his team

Wisky is a perfect matchup to use a run heavy game plan, which is what we will need to do with these young QBs.

In Tiger stadium last year LSU had Aub's no. This year its in the state of Alabama where SEC refs have LSU's no.

Miles would have been BBQed for something like this. I don't hear anyone talking about their coach's time management.

Wisconsin is like arky and Ole Miss , Mississippi State LSU has to play well, because they will play us with all their hearts ,they will play wayover their heads , they plan on
beating us it makes their season we have to play good enough to be sure we dont make their season !

As long as our boys don't think of this as an easy game and give it what I saw in the Oregon opener, we got this. I love a tough opener. I love it when they have to fight. Our boys are at their best against tough. However, they also can stoop to the easy team. If they take it seriously.... SWEET TIMES!

AP has the Tigers 13th and Badgers 14th. Last time I looked Vegas has us 4pt favorite. I do not put much faith in preseason polls and early lines and I believe LSU will win.

I hope many of you are correct. Yes we have better overall talent.

We also have 8 career catches from our WR's. Approximately 30 career passes from our QB's. Returning DT's have how many career tackles? If we count Johnson, we only have 3 that played a snap in a college game.

I think this is a great first game for us if we have high hopes for this year. Badgers traditionally are Bama lite.

This game and State will tell a lot about the Tigers. Win this first one gives us 2 games to correct problems. Beat State and we have 1 more game to improve...then LSU better be good at that point and damn good if we still have high expectations

Isn't wisconsin condsidering starting their former starting strong safety at QB bc he can run?

He's a quarterback. Was recruited as one (also held offers from Oregon, Florida, Texas, and WVU) out of JUCO. Lost out to Stave in the QB competition last season, but is a very, very athletic kid. Too athletic to keep off the field.

This narrative needs to stop. He was recruited as a quarterback and lost out on the competition to Stave in 2013. Very athletic kid that needed to see the field in some shape or form.
