Concrete and ready-mix, yes. Cement, no.
If you're eating a plain hot dog would you call it a chili dog?

We are all jumping the gun here, the truck might have been full of corndogs for all we know. Now don't you all feel silly?

We have had a couple of times where the plant forgot to put cement in the mixture, so I guess they can't be called concrete trucks since they may not technically be hauling concrete. So maybe calling ready-mix or mud trucks will be better. I'll inform my men.

Delivering concrete in a ready mixed form is their function, regardless of whether some idiot fricks up the process at the plant

its amazing how many people in this thread are admitting they're blue collar.
not that there is anything wrong with that.

I knew it was a concrete truck but I wouldn't be petty enough to argue it with people on the internet when it's not the point of the thread

A truck like the one in the video (no damn clue what to call it) rear ended and crushed a car a few years back on 635 in Irving. Driver was texting. Killed a close friend of my father and it took them hours to cut his body out of the wreck.
Much like the thread about 18 wheelers hauling arse through Baton Rouge, I am always amazed about how nonchalant someone driving a multi-ton vehicle can be. They need to restrict all these vehicles to a single lane.

I haven't worked 20 hours in a week in a decade.
And in my 50 plus years in construction I've never once heard it called a cement truck. It is ready mix delivered in a concrete truck. If it is Angelle it is a front discharge concrete truck. I have several Putzmeister pumps and they just started building a new line of concrete trucks which technically are mixed chassis trucks fitted with concrete mixer bodies.
And that driver, whether he gives zero fricks or not, is fired and that owners insurance company is sued and his rates just went through the roof. I'm sure she called Saul.

Not really.
Anyone with any amount of construction process knowledge says "concrete" truck....or "ready-mix" truck.
Most housewives, or males who type for a living say "cement" truck.
Cement is like the flour in a cake. The most essential component.
