Actually, Marvel will have four series on Netflix next year and one miniseries tying all four together.
Are you replying to me from two weeks ago?
Marvel has one series scheduled for 2015 on Netflix. The other three are being planned to follow but have not announced writers, directors, no casting... If you see any news about dates for the other three series, please post them. Right now, Daredevil is the only one in production. They announced the director for Daredevil ten months ago, and they're just getting to the filming. At this pace, I doubt that the other three will launch in 2015. We might get the Defenders movie in 2017 or 2018.

A new Batman v Superman set photo has surfaced that has people wondering about the nature of actor Scoot McNairy’s role in the film, as it looks possible that he could be playing none other than Barry Allen aka The Flash in this pre-Justice League feature. More after the jump.
Earlier today, BatmanNews posted a set photo that showed McNairy wearing an otherwise normal business suit that was cut off just below the knee and replaced with a bright green fabric—the kind of green fabric that is used for digital replacement. It’s impossible to know for sure why McNairy is wearing this material. Could be mechanical legs, could be part of a complex visual effects shot, or it could be in support of making McNairy’s legs move very, very quickly.
Some began speculating that this set photo provides evidence that McNairy could be playing The Flash in Dawn of Justice, and if this news were indeed true, it would mean that McNairy has joined the DC Cinematic Universe for the long haul.

He's a monster. He's doing the comic Superman justice and has come a long way.

I know y'all were hoping Gal Gadot buffed up to be Wonder Woman, but: LINK
Yeah, she's still thin as a nail, and has no business playing Wonder Woman, even less so than Jesse Eisenberg had playing Lex Luthor (which is really saying something). Affleck as Batman is the least of this film's worries, and I'm predicting now that this will be looked on as one of the worst films of all time.
Anytime anyone involved in this production opens their mouth my first thought is "oh no". They're ridiculously jacking off to "The Dark Knight Returns" when they clearly have no idea why that plot works within context. Sorry, but the second chapter of a planned 10 film series is taking prime inspiration from that comic? It makes sense for "The Dark Knight Rises", since Batman has been around for a while, is beaten and battered, and is about to inevitably be killed in some form, but to start out a Justice League franchise? You've either lost your fricking mind or don't know why that story works. I'm leaning towards both.
Man of Steel only installed the worst faith in me about this project. All they are doing is looking at frick ups in the past and what fans like reading about and implementing them. They're really just digging this franchise into the ground, and by 2020 there will be some revamp from the start to get a Justice League movie that doesn't completely blow by 2025.

Damn. She put on zero muscle.

I'm too tired to argue, so I'll keep it simple. I'm excited. Could it be bad, sure. I've thought many movies could be bad and they turned out good. I've thought many movies could be good and they were bad. Some things concern me, yes. Some things concern me about The Avengers 2. I'm going to wait and see for this one.

I can't think of anything in the ballpark as awful in the Avengers 2 as we're for sure doing "The Dark Knight Returns", Wonder Woman is a weakling, and Lex Luthor has been devolved to Mark Zuckerberg. Jesse Eisenberg couldn't intimidate a bologna sandwich, nevertheless Superman. I'll believe it when I see it.

Avengers 2 spoilers.............
Well, Tony Stark building Ultron so he and the Avengers can take a break for one. Another would be thinking Iron Man could take the Hulk.

I don't think that any of these are anywhere close to the things I listed. First off, Tony would be the first to suggest a program like this so he can relax, get ducked up,and still save the world.
And Iron Man taking the Hulk is way less ridiculous than this Batman taking down Superman.

Maybe your first point, but Tony Stark building a robot that turns on people because the human race is bad for itself? That's almost the plot of every sci-fi movie. And some people think The Hulk could take on Superman. What's the difference?
ETA: Honestly I don't have a problem with either one. I think The Avengers has a better chance of being a good movie because Marvel has made so many good movies. But I haven't seen anything in either one that would say to me "this is going to be the worst movie ever".

Yea, it's not like he needs much help, but there is some padding in that suit.
And he looks a lot bigger now.

I do too, but this is the first time we're seeing Batman in this "universe" and he's already past his prime?

yeah and a lot of those old sci fi movies you're talking about were ripping off the Ultron concept.

Goddamn it.
No matter how hard you try, you can't build a buff and well muscled fighting warrior princess of the amazons out of a runway model.
frick DC for allowing Snyder to go forward with this catastrophic miscasting. It has an excellent chance of winding up on the level of Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane. Actually, frick DC for still allowing Snyder to have any control of the franchises of the biggest superheroes in comic book lore and history.
If gadot crashes and burns as WW this is going to be an extremely upsetting and depressing waste of Ben Affleck as Batman because if one actor is fizzling in a role, it will blow the multi movie deal apart and they'll have to start over.
Gadot better be looking like this when the movie rolls out in theaters.... It may be an unfair expectation but damn it, that is what the role requires.

Her thighs will never be that big.
I just like that she called our Lynda Carter on the ALS thing and Carter responded. I'm liking that they acknowledge each other and hope that they're able to work Lynda Carter into the Wonder Woman movie as Hippolyta.
