Well, it seems now you have it:

"Israeli security officials on Tuesday evening announced the arrest of the chief of a Hamas cell, who has confessed to organizing the abduction and murder of three Israeli teens a month-and-a-half ago."

Ghazi and trackfan will just say that the evil Zionist Israelis tortured him into confessing that.

Well, if the Israeli government says it, it must be true.

I don't buy that Hamas had no involvement, but did you even think about what you quoted?

Why is a Hamas leader confessing to killing 3 Israelis so hard to believe?

If true, it will be the first piece of evidence anyone has heard of and somewhat proof that there was no evidence to speak of before now.

Why not? You expect others to believe everything Hamas says. Doesn't Israel deserve the same?

Do you realize that what you wrote makes no sense whatsoever? Evidence is uncovered all the time. Do you believe that the cops have all the evidence then need in every case immediately?

I don't expect people to take Hamas' word at face value, but this whole thing is atypical of Hamas' modus operandi. Why did Israel imprison 400 Hamas members a month ago, who not coincidentally were all released as part of Israel's last deal with Hamas, if they just got evidence today? Were all 400 in the car with the folks who killed the three teens? Do you not believe Israel had an incentive to come up with a justification for the arrests and accuse Hamas of something it had nothing to do with? Come on man.

They released the guy's name today, along with the statement that he confessed.

He was arrested weeks ago.

You DO realize that number is completely false, right? I'm not certain if you are intentionally trying to deceive the readers or if you are simply misinformed. I hope it's the latter.

Under these circumstances, are you really willing to take Israel's word and the alleged confession at face value?

I have no reason to believe this. It is as dubious of a claim as Obama and company claiming they caught the terrorist responsible for Bhenghazi.

Didn't answer my question. Why did you post that the 400 or so arrests of Hamas members were all among those released in the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange, when all parties, including Hamas, acknowledge that the number is approximately 62 (7 of whom have in fact been released already)?

I hadn't heard those specifics of the makeup of the folks Israel arrested. Do you have a link?
