Where would I go to look for an older 4x4 truck?

Like a 70s model, when trucks were trucks, not sissy rides like today

Nothing in particular. Just something like craigslist. The local one here has let me down as far as older models. The oldest I can find is early 90's.
I no longer have a 4x4. Family and economy came first
I'd like an old cj or bronco/blazer but wouldn't turn down an old truck if it was something I liked

I recently saw a 70's model f150 with a 390 sitting on 44's on craigslist around Alexandria. that truck was a beast, I think they wanted 3500

Maybe too new, but I've got an 04 goat for sale. 4 door, 4wd with Hemi. She's a beast of a hunting truck.

Would only be interested in a Bronco from that era, or maybe a real early 80's Jeep CJ. Can't stand the trucks from back then.

I've got an '05 and still drive it regularly. It is mainly kept around to run at the farm, but it's still presentable.

My 80 is pushing 200K miles and still kicking. I am back an forth between a new truck and really fixing mine up with new seats, etc.

Got Facebook? Check out "Cajun Swap Shop" they get posted from time to time...

My 80 has 240k. My BJ-40 has unknown miles and more rust than metal but is still kicking. My 60 has 530k and won't die. My 83 40 has 190k and drives like new. There is nothing like a Cruiser. Cjs are ok but without Dana 60's they are junk, not to mention tiny springs.
Atlascrusher (I think) on mud sells seat covers for your 80. Have you changed the ticking time bomb head gasket?

I saw those seats. Not changing head gasket until it fails. It may still be good for another 50k.

That temp gauge isn't accurate at all. Had a '96 80 that tried to overheat and a '94 that tried to overheat while the gauge was dead center. My '97 has an aftermarket gauge that works/reads correctly while the factory gauge stays dead center. There is a cheap fix for that factory gauge on mud. Be careful and put tape over the gauge until you mod it, cause its useless.
