Jesse loves the military & has never criticized soldiers that he sees as 'victims' of its politicians. Huge defender of soldiers.

People who have known Jesse for a long time, like former Olympic lifter and pro wrestler Ken Patera, claim that Jesse's brain is blown out from some of his extracurricular activities in the 70s and that it has affected his short-term memory.

He's said that you can go talk to Jesse and he'll spout off a lot of stuff and seem like he's having a conversation with you, but you can walk away, come back 5 minutes later, and have the exact same conversation with him, at which point you notice something is off with him.

I can honestly believe that Jesse would run his mouth and not remember it later.

Him getting punched out, though, would likely leave some physical evidence behind.

Yeah they were. Truth is an acceptable defense for libel, so if it actually happened JV wouldn't have won the suit.

I'm trying to think on that..

So he was in NOLA when the people were still in the dome?

Rhetorical question ,but why would someone lie about a stories that can be so easily debunked? Weird.

Lying about war heroics is one thing ,but gunning down citizens in a 1st world nation with no report/verification? No family of the carjackers?

I was always disturbed by this guy openly boasting of gunning down a woman in Iraq cradling a baby. True or untrue boasting about that is twisted.

After his lies I don't know what to believe yet some are shockingly still standing by this guys fanciful story.

Ventura & many others said it never happened(like Katrina & the carjacking).Says he had a pleasant time at the the event & never recalls ever meeting Kyle(met many SEALS so its possible he doesn't remember the guy at all).

That's hilarious. And probably how it actually happened. They replayed on of the interviews where he outed him yesterday on O&A, maybe it was more obvious because I was listening and not distracted by watching the interview, but his voice sounded like he was full of BS and trying to make sure he was telling the story like he had told it before.

Not only that, the dome would be a horrible vantage for a sniper. Now the Plaza tower or something, more plausible. But the roof of the Superdome during Katrina was constantly on TV.

Has the hero worship of soldiers gotten so bad that reporters or citizens cannot question the tales of a soldier?

Its really pathological & no one even called him on it while he was alive for fear of being called 'unpatriotic' or 'hating our troops/heroes' I assume.

Instead of attacking Kyle's honor/sanity people some are attacking Ventura instead.

The money is taken out of the estate that she has been left. It'd be a nice move on his part to say "I don't want your money, I just wanted to clear my name. I won the judgement, but that's all I wanted"

Yeah, I don't get the logic. Even minus 1.8 million, the family still has plenty of cash from the book sale and movie rights.

He lied and smeared Ventura, profiting handsomely (partially) off of that fact.

So this guy pretty much was a sniper, lied a whole bunch and sold books to the masses as some kind of war hero bad arse.

Then gets shot to death at a gun range.

Funny how things happen.

Yea, I don't like Ventura but the more that comes out, the more it's becoming clear that Kyle was a self-aggrandizing, borderline pathological liar. Guy never had a shred of the integrity that someone like Pat Tillman did.

Why would you drop it after the guy died? If you cared enough to file in the 1st place what would cause you to quit because the guy died?

Seems you may have more respect for the deceased that JV did.

No they weren't. They were charged with whether JV made the statement. The punch was not at issue. Just the statement.

Ventura is no stranger to lying himself.
