That's so sad and just another way drugs can destroy lives.

So you are blaming the cops because your "friend" was stupid?

Friend of mine was arrested for possession of cocaine. Cops raided his apartment, nailed him for the coke and another friend of mine for weed and paraphernalia. My friend was facing prison time and had to deal with court dates for ~6 months. This guy was a grad student instructor, a PhD candidate, and a genuinely good dude who just liked to cut loose. After half a year of struggling with the mountain of bullshite he took his life a short time ago, the last person who talked to him told me he was just devastated about his situation and was convinced he was going to prison. Just wanted to share another success tale about the valiant War on Drugs.
I don't feel sorry for anyone who kills themselves, especially one that was fueled by drugs

So your friend who was intelligent did drugs and was caught then killed himself and you blame the war on drugs?
Seems legit.

Your friend sounds like an imbecile. Darwin

There is more to this story than what you are telling.

Huh huh hey this guy's whole life was ruined cause he got caught with a substance we, for ridiculous reasons, decided was worse than hitler. So he killed himself. What a dumbass retard right guys

Well you know what they always say

He must have had a shitload of coke to warrant a raid.

I obviously don't know your friend, but if even if he is the great guy you make him out to be, for every one person like him there are 10 looking for their next high and willing to rob, steal, or kill to get it.

I am sorry for your loss, and I feel badly for his family. It was all his fault, though. There is nobody or nothing to blame. He decided to do illegal drugs. He decided to kill himself, which is the most selfish act a man can do. I hope he did not have children.

Sorry about the loss of your friend.
He may have been very intelligent, but buying cocaine in "bulk" off of the Internet is beyond stupid. If he wasn't dealing then why was he buying in bulk? He had to have known the consequences of getting popped for possession vs intent to distribute.
I'll take risks but the reward has to outweigh the risk. Getting high on cocaine is not worth years in prison and ruining your life.

I'm glad someone else besides me holds Akon 0 percent guilty and the underage girl who went to the club's father 100 percent guilty.

His problems were of his own making. Sorry that he killed himself though.

The longer a case goes for, the better the outcome, typically. That being said, when your life is virtually placed on pause, it can drive a man to do crazy things. Really sorry to hear this story.
