One that society has fully accepted, endorsed and legalized.

Who is saying one sin is greater than the other? I can think of only one source that could determine such a thing

i want a list of every person who is agreeing with the "it's a sin" meme who enjoys shellfish or pork

However, if you do not believe in God then there are no objective moral values in your mind.
this is incorrect, at least in all cases
morality is nothing more than a list of behaviors that society has deemed to be disruptive, and this occurred long before i was born
murder, stealing, incest, etc. these are all social mores and immoral, and we have data to back it up
religion just used these concepts, added in a god (and back in the date, this occurred via state control), and voila

Gay marriage is a perversion of marriage and a sign of a society in decline.

what about things like the rate of murders, violent crimes, teen pregnancies, abortions, etc?
they're all going down
are we a society in decline?

Come on you don't really believe that do you?

it's true
things like teen pregnancies, murder, and abortion are difficult to fake, also
these things all reached a peak in the early 90s (the spike began in the 70s, really ramped up in the 80s, and crested in about 92-93)

I would think it's pretty easy to fake depending on who's tallying up the statics.
It's like voting. It doesn't matter who votes but who counts the votes.

All of those things. There are more than just one sign of a society in decline.
Another sign is the leadership we choose to lead our nation.

They're hiding all of these babies in orphanages in Idaho. FEMA camps.
They becomes slaves as they grow into adolescence.

At present, things are okay. Economic and educational malfeasance by our government would indicate that it's gonna get worse though.
IDGAF about gay marriage if they want to fight and not get blowjobs more power to them .just don't force churches to recognize them.
I have to reiterate that this really should not be as high a priority as say, shitty border control, a tax collection agency targeting groups that oppose the current administration, retarded economic policies, and shitty education.

hospitals report data to national databases. i don't even think they estimate on teen pregnancies. they use actual data
now if you want to argue that millions of young girls have reverted back to home births with midwives, i'll listen. i hope we also presume that tehy don't apply for birth certificates/SS#s, etc also?
[/img]
pretty sure abortions also similar in that actual stats are used
now with violent crime, the local authorities can jig the numbers before they get reported to the FBI. i have no doubt this happens, but the only way your argument makes sense is if this didn't occur in the past (which is insane). why did every LEO start to rig their stats in the 90s?
let's also remember that in the teen pregnancy and violent crime stats, the agencies lying to reduce numbers would actually be against their self interest. both groups responsible for these statistical models get more money if things are worse

Are you sure you're not equally pissed about these butt pirates calling it marriage and hijacking a religious term? I sure am.

Let's just fricking legalize it so that they stop complaining and we don't have to talk about it anymore.
I don't necessarily disagree with you about legalizing it but here's my concern...
Let's say it's legalized in every state and accepted by the government.
Do you think that the powers that be (gay mafia - if you will) are just going to say "well, we got what we wanted. There's no need for us any more."?
No - They've built a very lucrative and very powerful machine with almost complete control and absolutely no way it can be criticized or condemned. They are not going to dismantle it. They are going to continue pushing boundaries and move on to other activist/progressive/social issues. My guess is that the next step would be to force all religious institutions to perform/recognize gay marriages and condone the lifestyle.

i agree, and the idiot social conservatives on the right in this country completely disagree with you
they've LET the liberals and DEMs control the issues, both marginalizing the stances of the right wingers and forcing them to devote so many resources to stupid social values fights that they can't win the other arguments

So if teen pregnancies are down and abortions are also down then what's going on? Are we supposed to believe that teens are having less sex or that they are now more responsible in using birth control?
I mean you can toss up all the statics you like but it still just doesn't seem believable compared to what I see out in the world, not to mention all the baby mommas that are prevalent throughout social media.
