Find a big boy job and live in western Loudon County. I lived in that area for 14 years doing IT work. Out of 14 years, I went to the district about 10 times.
If you lived in the area you clearly never left bum frick P-Ville.
I grew up in Loudon and its full of spanish speaking people as well. Arlington is great and very modern with lots of young professionals living there.

Yep, I live here. I'll never forget playing on an evening softball team on the grounds of the Washington Monument at dusk.

I used to live a block from Carpool, I went there ALL THE TIME. Stumbled home pretty much every time
I find that I enjoy A-town and places like Liberty Tavern more and more these days since I'm getting older

I like DC a lot. My wife hasn't been since 7th grade and wants to go back. My 4 month old daughter might be a little young to appreciate it.

yea wait until she's at least 6 months old so she can appreciate it

quote:"Washington, D.C., is a planned city. In 1791, President Washington commissioned Pierre (Peter) Charles L’Enfant, a French-born architect and city planner, to design the new capital. The L'Enfant Plan featured broad streets and avenues radiating out from rectangles, providing room for open space and landscaping.[68] He based his design on plans of cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Karlsruhe, and Milan brought from Europe by Thomas Jefferson in 1788.[69] L'Enfant's design also envisioned a garden-lined "grand avenue" approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) in length and 400 feet (120 m) wide in the area that is now the National Mall." This place is just awe-inspiring
The OP is not exaggerating.
