I admittedly haven't followed this story very closely but was this ever confirmed, and by who?
I haven't actually looked into it to verify, but my friend from work said he was reading an article where two of the people that saw the actual video of the incident stated it was a violent enough of a punch to knock a grown man out cold.

Ray Rice suspended two games for beating the shite out of his wife in an elevator
What does that have to do with the game of football? Next someone will be suspended for spanking their child, or yelling at their wife.
I sure hope my employer does not fire me for yelling at my wife, or even hitting her if I would ever do that (never have).

They were likely Wasted, couldn't it be possible she was hitting him, he pushed her away, she fell and knocked her head? Just throwing it out there.
Exactly what his attorney told the D.A. to avoid charges.

So the hair drag was accidental?

If you start smacking your wife in public, it's safe to say you would no longer be employed by most organizations.
