2001. Just imagine the lens flares and the narration.

That's funny...because that's always one I thought was ripe doe a reboot every so often because of the three decade time jump.

It's too late now obviously, but it could have been neat to see a new version tell much the same story but from 2014 going back to 1984. I'm sure I'd enjoy seeing the 80's again through the eyes of my kids in the same way my Dad enjoyed seeing the 50's through mine.

Of course, Fox and company were so well cast that it might be more than just the story and makes it such a classic.

But I'd have to go with Shawshank Redemption. Leave it alone forever.

The Bourne movies. (they should have stopped making them after the Damon films.)

Legacy isn't even a reboot or remake. It's just a continuation.

I like remakes. The existence of a new movie doesn't wipe out the existence of the original.

Twilight. Nobody should ever have to suffer from that nonsense ever again.

You wouldn't watch a remake starring Nick Cage, Bridgett Fonda, and Johnny Depp co-directed by Michael Bay and M. Night?

I haven't looked at any previous post but I'm gonna drop in here and post The Goonies. I'm hoping I'm not the first to point out this obvious one.

Too racist to remake anyway. They'd have to add a few black people, a better love story, and delete the asian kid just for starters.
