Oh, no doubt. And I'm not saying the guy is innocent. Not at all. I'm sure others on here have said they know this guy, haven't read the whole thread, but I know this guy and he is creepy as hell. Like something off in the head. This poor girl could have ended up dead. He was/is known around LSU as a weirdo, and I wouldn't feel comfortable with any girl I'm close to being alone with this guy. Just my two cents from having spent more time around him than I'd care to.

What I find curious is that he didn't seem to be running or hiding or anything. Pretty normal for someone who's committed a crime.
If he's a rapist then throw him under the jail, but I really think there has to be more to this story that isn't presented in the article.

Just read this thread and most are saying she wanted to frick because she invited him over. He may think a along with that mindset and the fact he made her bathe and erase texts that it would be his word vs hers. And if he made her do that why run and look guilty?

We worked together for a summer. Don't construe this as me saying he is definitely guilty, but I want it on the record that he is creepy AF, and doesn't take social cues like the rest of us on top of that. The part where I said she's lucky she isn't dead is more of a general statement about inviting strange men into your apartment than about Jake specifically. I'm sure he has some kind of condition. I would not feel safe alone with him if I were female.
