Any clue to what kind of spider this is? This was taken by a friend here on the Norhtshore this past weekend. All of the comments say wolf spider. I'm not sure. This is big, Banana spider big. Or could this be an optical illusion? She is claiming it is real and no where to be found now.

I would legit move into a hotel until an exterminator could locate it and guarantee there are no more. Those mother frickers freak me the frick out.

I had to go open my office door and step outside just now to calm down after seeing this. frick.

Mother fricker even has a flashlight on its face so it can find you at night.

She needs to work on her house cleaning skills, then maybe the environment will not be condusive to big arse spiders. Look at those dusty cob webbed corners... I wouldn't post the picture out of sheer embarrassment.

Has somebody you know wifed this broad?

Definite Wolf Spider. I bought a foreclosure last year. Ended upfinding about 10 black widows and a few wolf spiders. Came out one night and found a wolf spider the size of my wifes hand in the hallway by the bathroom. I ahve since run around the house with a shop vac every month or so and sucked up any spiders and webs. Also pressure washing the exterior seems to have killed them on the outside. We also bought a powder that you mix with water. Spray it on. Then when it dries it turns back to powder. Since spiders don't drag their bodies normal pesticides do not work. When they walk through this powder their feet throw it on their body and it kills them. Similar to Seven dust but this stuff is specifically for spiders. This odd issue with snakes and spiders is amusing. I like every other person am willing to kill both but even my kid knows to let Wolf Spiders walk. They kill the bad ones including black widows. I will however remove them grom the interior of the house when possible.

I'm not afraid of spiders, but you could chase me around the block with a fricking lizard.

Goddamn brother used to catch them and hold me down and make those little bastards bite me on the nose. Been terrified of those frickers ever since.
