THe Official Comic Book Villain Tournament (Round II) Voting Open

The Rules:
1.) This is a two sided bracket. Each side contains 64 comic characters.
2.) The left side of the bracket will be Heroes the right side of the bracket will be villains.
3.) Each bracket will be comprised of 26 Marvel characters, 26 DC characters, and 12 misc comic/novel characters.
4.) Once all of the characters have been selected, the names will be entered into a random generator and spit out 1-64. The match-ups will be set regular seed style (1 vs. 64, 2 vs. 63, etc.) Please note that the number does not represent their seed, but instead the number they drew.
5.) The voting system will be a simple check mark system. You will simply select the name of the character you think would win each match-up. I will go off of the general consensus. If there is an instance where the voting for a particular match-up is close, I will open the floor for members to make their case for who should move on. I will have the final say in such situations, but I promise to be as fair and impartial as I can.
6.) All voters are asked to put bias to the side. We must assume that these match-ups are completely random (As if it is the first time each character has encountered the other character.) Hopefully this will cut down on some of the knighting... cough Batman cough...
***So it would probably be safe to say that Batman would not be walking around with the Muramasa Sword.
***In the case where you have characters who cannot be killed by normal means (Wolverine, Deadpool, Thor) then a knockout or incapacitation will count
-Hulk Vs. Thor (whoever could knock the other one out first or incapacitate)
-Wolverine Vs. Deadpool (Same)
-These are just general examples

***Example: Cable w/ his technorganic virus under control, or cyclops w/ full control of his optic blast. No Nova with the Worldmind & Full Nova Force or Doom with The Beyonder's powers.

How do you figure Ultron beats Darkseid? Seems like Darkseid's omega beams would be hard to beat for anyone. I think Darkseid would win this one pretty handily.

Ultron is made of Adamantium.
It's close and I'm fairly confident I'll change, but Darkseid's telepathy and all means squat in this one. Darkseid's powers all revolve around "life," and Ultron isn't technically alive. I think it's a close one at least.

My biggest question is how everyone is voting Black Manta over Sentinel. If we're talking the badass sentinels from X-men DOFP, this shouldn't be a contest. Even the less intense sentinel should handle manta pretty easily i think.

Manta is a pretty badass guy.
He is basically a walking armory as well.
Sentinels at the end of the day are simply large robots. Powerful, but slow and linear thinking.
An optic blast here, a missile there, and the sentinel is down.
Remember, a single sentinel is not a huge threat to any super-power. It is when they gang up on you when they become the pain in the arse.
Manta could easily get into his blind spot and wreck havoc!

I agree with BlacknGold. So +1 with his stuff. Y'all high as hell if you think Omega Red will beat Blackheart

isnt Ultron still just a robot? Darkseid has destructive beams as well. He has also turned a spirit character like the Spectre into a human. So I'm not sure how much "life" there needs to be.
