When aliens misinterpret video-feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war, they attack Earth using the games as models for their various assaults. President William Cooper (Kevin James) calls upon his childhood best friend, '80s video game champion Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler), who had a previous relationship to his attractive wife (Jane Krakowski) to lead a team of old-school arcaders (Peter Dinklage and Josh Gad) to defeat the aliens and save the planet.

looks like a fun kids movie with plenty of humor aimed at adults. Could be like a live action version of that "Futurama" episode about the same concept.

Ok, so right off the bat I know I have to suspend all belief in reality.

So I don't want to hear anybody on here go see the movie review it as "too silly". ESPECIALLY when the whole movie is based on this premise.

How is this movie not named "Space Invaders"?

For once it doesn't sound all that shitty of a movie, but it's Adam Sandler, so I'll still keep my expectations as low as possible. Josh Gad and Peter Dinklege are both huge pluses though.

The fact that Dinklage is in it gives me a little hope.

This movie is too outlandish. Dinklage is too short to even play an arcade game. Unbelievable character is unbelievable.

I guess it's a better concept that - Adam Sandler goes to some ridiculously gorgeous beach location to try to win over some girl who is way out of his league who his character could never get Part 7.

I love this concept, Kevin James as president has me worried though, is he still going to play his love able dumb guy character? That's going to be annoying if he's the president
