I had no problem defending the Human Torch casting as Jordan is a fantastic actor imo, but this just sounds awful by the minute.

Jon Hamm should've been cast as Jor-El over Russell Crowe in MoS.
Crowe is just not believable looking as Cavill's father.

if you are going to ignore the source material to the degree it seems they are doing you may as well create an original IP.
nothing worse than a studio taking an IP that they consider niche and changing to to the point that the original fanbase that made it valuable enough to turn into a movie will tune out.

He may well be the greatest actor of our generation...but that doesn't excuse making his sister a Caucasian. Either they are both white or they are both black...they are siblings (not half, not step, not adopted) for Stan lee's sake! That alone was the biggest PC move I have seen out of holloweird in a long long time. Will enjoy watch this movie making zero money.
