The 6.4 was a hastily designed chunk to fill the gap between the 6.0 and 6.7 and it did a good job of it. Start falling apart when the 6.7s hit the lots and people will be looking to buy the new motor. No amount of hacking and tuning will fix a poor block design and crappy QC.

Those prices seem stupidly high for a used truck to me. Brand new ones can't be a whole lot more.

Brand new KR is going to be at least $55, if not closer to $60. 25,000 miles is next to brand new with only a few more years on her.

There weren't any trans issues with the first year of the 6 speed so nothing to really worry about.
