My driver last night told me that Uber PAID HIM $50 to take the job. They gave him the money when he went through the orientation and picked up the iPhone.

It's very cool I drove last night from 5pm till midnight. Around 15 pickups, a fellow driver had over 30 pickups and is already back out on the road. I drive a Honda Civic Hybrid ask away.

How strict are they on the driving record? I've been clean for a while but I've gotten some tickets a couple years ago.

Well during this intro period it's based on volume/time worked so the payout will differ and a better answer can be given after the promo ends.

I'm on vacation,but can't wait to try it out when I get back to BR.
I've already warned the wife that I'll be going out a lot more now. Drinking and driving and the taxi situation has caused me to hang around the house many times that I wanted to go out for dinner/ drinks with friends.
